  Description:

  Working with other interpreters shouldn’t feel like a competition or rivalry. These attitudes can negatively impact our interpretations, our rapport with clients, and how well we adhere to the CPC or NAIE Code of Ethics. Teaming should feel like being on a cooperative, cohesive team, working toward a common goal. 

  Please join us for a Community of Practice event to discuss effective conferencing and communication with a team, different strategies and approaches to support your interpreting team, and justify ethical decision making while working with a team. 

  Discussions will be fully interactive to facilitate interpersonal support and complex professional dialogue. This Community of Practice event will benefit working educational interpreters, community interpreters, and interpreting students.
